Quilting Costs:
Cost for Edge to Edge Quilting is $.025/square inch
To do the math you multiply your quilt’s finished width by the finished length then times by .025.
Example: a quilt 60” x 80” would be: 60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120
Note: I do have 5 “Budget” quilting patterns for $.02/square inch. Please check them out under the Quilting Designs Tab
Batting
I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend and 100% cotton and Wool. I am able to get 100% Polyester or their Green Option (made with recycled plastic) if you desire that.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price. Prices below assume your quilt is less than 93” on at least one side.
Hobbs 80/20 - $.25/ inch
Quilters Dream 80/20 - $.30/inch
Quilters Dream 100% Cotton - $.35/ inch
Quilters Dream Wool - $.38/inch
Example: a quilt 60” x 80” in the Quilters Dream 80/20 would cost $20.40
60” + 6” (extra required)= 66 x $.30 = $19.80
Shipping
If you are shipping your quilt, you are responsible for shipping to and from Guided Star Quilting. I am located in Lancaster, PA. I will ship quilts at the lowest possible cost using flat rate boxes, if possible. You can pick up free priority flat rate boxes at the USPS.
Medium Flat Rate Box: $15.05
Large Flat Rate Box: $21.10
This includes $50 of insurance. Please let me know if you would like more insurance.

Binding
We offer a binding service in which we make the binding from the fabric you supply and the binding is sewn onto the front of the quilt and then we hand stitch it to the back of the quilt with mitered corners.
Binding costs $.25/ linear inch.
Example: a quilt 60” x 80” would be
60 + 60+ 80+ 80 =280 x .25= $70
Quilt Label
Custom Quilt Label from Josie’s Quilt Closet
$20/Label for (4) Lines.
Labels with more than 4 lines will need to have the price adjusted.
